Author's Note: These are my thoughts of this book. You will be learning that being popular isn’t always the best; you can fit in with everyone.
The book, Lucky, is a really well written book. The author, Rachel Vail, did an amazing job with the characters in this book; they have everything a natural teen does. Rachel teaches in this book that if you’re not “popular” doesn’t mean that you can’t fit in with everyone.
Lucky was very interesting to me it included lots of drama of three sisters, Allison, Quinn, and Phoebe, and one of them falling in love. I was amazed by how every detail I read in the book, I could imagine in my head of what was going on. The author of this book shows she was trying to let the readers know that someone not so “popular” could turn out to be really lucky.
Five more weeks till graduation! Would she get her dream dress? Of course! I mean she has all of the luck, but does she run out? Will her and her friends get in a fight? That’s just it. Phoebe was too focused on her life then she was on her friends. This is really sad; this happens to me a lot. I always think about myself before I do with my friends. My friends are more important than the way I look.
I clearly understood how the main character, “Phoebe”, felt in the story. Rachel Vail brings her characters to life and makes readers eagerly await the next books in the series. Not being “popular” doesn’t mean that you can’t be friends with everyone, as Rachel teaches us in this book.

The Loser
Author's Note: This was my interpetation of the book, "Dial L for Loser", you will also be learning about how life goes with teenagers.
The book Dial L for Loser is the best book I have ever read. Lisi Harrison did an amazing job perfecting the characters in this book, they have everything that natural teens have. Also this book is not unrealistic, and that is one of the many reasons that I like it. Harrison teaches in this book that being nice is one of the most important things in life.
When Massie got a call saying that she wasn’t on the movie, she had to go talk to Claire about this. Instead of talking to her she brought a camera and went into her trailer. While she was in her trailer making fun of what she all has in her bathroom, Massie and Alicia were recording and were live on “The Daily Grind.” How rude? Well it isn’t to Massie. She was enjoying it.It was all fun and games for Massie, until Claire found out. Claire was so mad and didn’t even want to look at Massie. Her new best friend, Abby, was on her side. Days without talking to Claire was making Massie sad. She couldn’t go that long with out having people around her or giving her attention. She had to go talk to her.
When she got to Claire’s trailer, she could hear her talking to Abby about letting them back on the Movie. She was so excited that she had to walk in and give her a big hug. But unfortunately Massie’s friend, Alicia, was not going to be able to be on the set. They did not know how to tell her. She was fine with it though. Well it is time to get ready for the movie. Claire was quite nervous. But Massie acted like she was the star of the show. Even though she was the extra on the set, she acted like the main star. “Break!” They were done! Claire got over her fear and was happy. But Massie was disappointed she didn’t get to be the star.
Well now that the movie was done with, and a couple of days later, Claire wanted to go home. So they did. Claire was so excited to see Cam. That she had to call him. They were home and there was a surprise party waiting for them. But Cam had sent her a letter to me him in the back yard. And as she went and saw Cam, she couldn’t have been happier.

Now that was a good book. Teenagers would like this book, but anyone can read it. Now there are a bunch of different books in this series, but out of all of them, this one is definitely the best.
